Tsosoloso Programme is a registered Non Profit Start-up (NPO Registration No. 133-631 NPO; Company Registration No. 2017 / 525726 / 08) in South Africa. The name Tsosoloso means to Revive in Setswana.

We believe that education can transform underdeveloped communities and reduce poverty by improving current living conditions.

 

Mission Statement

To promote a culture of reading, improve literacy while preserving our diverse heritage and deliver fundamental skills in rural communities.

 

Objective

Utilizing innovative educational material as a vehicle to empower our communities, our primary objective is to provide long term effective and affordable learning material to rural communities as well as partnering with educational and social awareness groups in undertaking meaningful community out-reach educational programmes.

 

We aspire to create a pleasant and stimulating educational enviroment which motivates and roots a sense of purpose in the learners.

Dr. Mantsose Jane Sethusha 

Dr. Jane Sethusha (D.Ed; University of South Africa) is a senior lecturer in the College of Education: Department of Early Childhood Education at the University of South Africa. Her research areas are in the fields of early childhood education, teacher education, and classroom assessment.  She is also involved in various community engagement projects at UNISA.

Letticia Mulenga Nkumbula 

Letticia Nkumbula (MBA; University of Cape Town) has a wealth of experience in lecturing, research and consulting in education and ICT. She served on a technical committee of the National Education Assessment Programme while working at Examinations Council of Zambia. With her family background in education, Letticia is very passionate about improving the literacy levels of our society.

 

Naomi Thompson 

Naomi Thompson (MBA; Hult International Business School, Boston) is a qualified attorney with extensive business having worked for a Pan African Investment company, with subsidiaries in Africa, Jersey, and the UK. She aspires to empower women and children through her work, including the Global Women Case Study series and speaking at academic events on sustainability in the African context (including action plans linked to the United Nation’s Sustainability Development Goals) which focuses on entrepreneurial driven solutions to current social challenges.

 

Phumelela Ndobo

Phumelela is an IT Professional with 18 years experience in the industry. He has extensive experience in the successful delivery of projects in this sector and has a passion for ICT in education. He holds a BCom in Information Systems, a Post Graduate Diploma in Telecommuniation and Information Policy and an MBA.
